We bow in reverence to those legends who graced this Earth,
ਸਿੱਕੇ ਚੱਲਦੇ ਅਕਾਲ ਸਹਾਇ ਦੇ
Where the sovereign currency is the blessing of the Divine.

His intensity is too overwhelming to capture in a fleeting glance,
ਹਾਏ ਲੋਕੀਂ ਸ਼ੇਰ-ਏ-ਪੰਜਾਬ ਉਹਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਦੇ
That’s why the world hails him as the Lion of Punjab.
ਹੋ ਸਾਡੀ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਰਾਜ ਦਾ ਸਰੂਰ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ
Even our dusty soil once felt the high of true independence.

ਬੰਨ੍ਹਿਆ ਡੌਲ਼ੇ ‘ਤੇ ਕੋਹਿਨੂਰ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ
He wore the Koh-i-Noor like a warrior's badge on his arm.

Akali Phula Singh displays his sheer tactical genius,

Hoisting the banners of victory was his way of life.

ਹੋ ਰਾਜ ਫੇਰੀ ਆਉਣਾ ਮਸਲਾ ਏ ਕਾਹਦਾ?
Why doubt the return of our sovereign glory?
ਹਮ ਰਾਖਤ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਦਾਵਾ
We carry the legacy of kingship in our veins,
ਹੋ ਮੁੱਖੋਂ ਦਸਮ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੇ ਫਰਮਾਇਆ ਏ
As prophesied by the Tenth Master himself,
ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉਸੇ ਨੇ ਹੀ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਬਿਠਾਇਆ ਏ
He was the one who blessed the throne.
ਨਿਆਂ ਅਰਜਣਾ ਜਿਹਦਾ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ
His sense of justice was the stuff of legends.
